Hyundai Construction Equipment Stall at EXCON 2018

Overview

EXCON 2018 was the largest construction equipment exhibition in South India which focused on displaying equipment encapsulating infrastructure sector, building material and mining sector, organizing industry conferences, product launches and welcoming business vendors all under one roof, organized by Confederation of Indian Industry, India’s premier industry association. Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd. confirmed its position in the list of the exhibitors at the Excon 2019 held in Bengaluru and carried the slogan ‘Moving you Further.’ For the implementation of the theme along with delivering the slogan, the state-of-the-art machinery and construction equipment had to be presented to the audience to understand the motive of Hyundai.

Conceptualisation

A tiny drop can cause a ripple effect in the ocean and Rigger House managed to do the same for an established company as Hyundai at the EXCON 2018. The challenges were many ahead of the road as 18 pieces of machinery had to be placed precisely in the area of 1750 sq. m.

  • The space at the exhibition was allocated to meet all the requirements including outdoor space for machine and attachments, reception, meeting rooms, conference rooms, CCTV room, room for MD’s meetings customer engagement area, store and cloakroom, viewing deck, brand shop and even pantry.
  • Besides the basics, open air space on the mezzanine floor, sheltered space, open sitting area in the outdoor space, fencing around the equipment and rain shed whilst keeping enough space for the branding elements throughout the exhibition were allocated.
  • Rigger House mindfully structured the blend of equipment placement, designing, coordination and implementation of stall and branding, both indoors and outdoors.
  • The in-house design team finalized the structure of the stall with Hyundai and the process started. To mitigate any risk, Rigger House curated contingency plans for the same and appointed presence of local team members at the venue.
  • Rigger House organized customer-engagement activities including key handover ceremonies, music and dance, flash mob and quizzes and gifts distribution to interact with the audience on a large scale.

This was one of the most challenging feats of Rigger House which the team received applause by Hyundai for successful implementation.
